RAY JOHNSON MEMORIAL POSTCARD Since Ray Johnson's death in 1995, I have made an edition of 20 of
these postcards after each time I've been to New York. Flock Dead-eye bunnies on tourist postcards,
with rubberstamped on the reverse, each one is slightly different. Mark Pawson 2008-9,

MAP, Mark Pawson 2009. A 1984 map of Belgium and Luxembourg which has been repeatedly
overprinted with weather symbols, gradually adding to the layers of information and symbols
already contained on the map. Hand printed with 2 layers of sun symbols in gold and yellow plus
a layer of rain symbols in various shades of blue. One of a continuing series of overprinted
secondhand maps, each of which is treated individually, with varying colour combinations and
layers of overprinting. size unfolded -100 x 110 cm. £55

1993-2007, this book has evolved so much over the years, that it was time for the name to change and evolve as well... pre-printed paper
plundered from an amazing variety of sources, woodchip wallpaper, maps, overprinted fashion glossies, catalogues,
3-D comics, colouring books, surplus stickers, lovely leftovers, delightful debris, pretty post-it notes, wonderful wastepaper etc etc. Continually changing, absorbing, evolving... A new Batch for 21010 just completed!! A5 32-40pgs

THE ADDRESS IS THE ART, Mark Pawson, 2003-2009-.
New 2009 batch just made - these copies include my exciting NEW ADDRESS - and if you're lucky a very short-lived P.O. Box!
The Address Is The Art is made from over two decades worth of collected envelopes from family, friends,
mailartists from around the world, junk mail, boring letters from the bank and more... Covers are
rubberstamped by hand with the addition of gummed labels and stickers, the pages alternate between
white and brown envelopes. I plan to assemble these continuously over the next few years - so there will
be variations within the edition... Signed, numbered, handsewn, edition of 500 copies. 14x20cm, 20 pgs.
