These SIGNS are intended to be affordable, non-precious work of art that can
be easily displayed just about anywhere. I wanted to create work that combined the
familiar form of a sign conveying information or instructions, the tactile durable
material of Perspex with it's retro colour palette and slogans, themes and designs
which were floating round in my brain, surfacing in notebooks and on post-it notes!
My SIGNS range from practical and useful to whimsical and provocative, slightly
sarcastic to social observation, decorative to diaristic.
They're made of Lasercut Perspex and assembled by hand. The SIGNS
will be produced in small batches until edition is complete, and then discontinued.
